It is just 10 km from Ranikhet and 5 km from the golf course. The lodge has 3 rooms and two toilets with running hot & cold water. The cottage has a fireplace and heaters are provided in each room in winter. Activities: Golfers could play in one of the best golf courses in the Himalayas. One can take long walks or visit the village to observe the lifestyle of the local hill folk. One can also visit the war museum in Ranikhet. The Trishul Lodge is a good base for travellers who wish to visit nearby places such as Sheetlakhet, Chaubatia gardens, Jageshwar, Almora etc. Pangot  Description: Pangot is small village 15 kilometers from Nainital, the drive takes only 25 minutes to get there. The entire drive is through the forested area of Cheena Peak Range via Snow View Point and Kilbury, the main habitats for excellent birding. Accommodation: As you reach village Pangot, you are guided to Jungle Lore Birding Lodge by the local people. A 5-minute walk down to the lodge rewards you with common stonechat, dark-throated thrush, slaty-headed parakeet, streaked-laughing thrush, red-billed blue magpie, yellow-breasted green finch, russet sparrow etc. Hotel Khazanchand Mansion, Uttarakhand  Description: Khazanchand Mansion is a fabled picturesque double storied heritage stone structure located in Almora- an enchanting hill station, the first to be set up by the British in 1815.The Mansion has a quaint colonial charm with its outsized ethnic bedrooms and a rare prominent view of the breathtaking Himalayan peaks such as Trishul, Nanda Devi, Nanda Ghunte, Mrigthuni, Maiktoli amidst others.
