Beach In Goa
Goa has the most famous seaside resorts in India. This state has always been on the map of those who want to be close to the sea. The history of Goa dates back to the 3rd century when it was part of the Mauryan empire. Then it came under the rule of the Satavahanas of Kolhapur. It changed hands with the Chalukyas of Badami. Goa was also ruled by the Shilharas and Kadambas. In 1312 Goa was annexed by the Muslims. In 1510, Portuguese took over in 1510. Goa finally became a part of India in 1961.

Beaches Mythology says that Goa was the celestial play ground of the voluptuous Gods. As if to prove this, the state has 40 beaches. The most famous are the Calangute and Anjuna beaches. If you are looking to get away from the madding crowd, head for Keri, Arambol, Mandrem and Morji. One of the few rocky beaches in Goa, Quegdevelim is a shell collector's paradise.

Forts Aguada & Candolim. The fort was built by the Portuguese in 1612 and is now in ruins which are visiting. Particularly the good old light house gives an interesting view of the nearby area.
