The fishing beats teem with clever Golden mahseer and goonch, while the old forests with elephants and great hornbills-testimony to the protection afforded to the Corbett National Park since the end of 18th century for the Lieutenant Governor's yearly shoots.
The Ramganga upwards of the Marchula bridge shimmies past scattered villages adorned with terraced fields and small temples. This 50 km stretch right up to Jainal boasts interesting fishing opportunities with gillies willing to hike their way walks to very remote areas far from habitation, and holding a rudimentary campsite or temple premise as a base, fish in some of the best spots adjoining sites. The Hindu reverence for life has preserved the pristine nature of these regions and the locals have welcomed our philosophy of catch-and-release sport fishing.

This is a specially designed angling tour on the Ramganga River. The trip involves assisted angling with a fishing guide, by the Ramganga River with back up jeep support. It is a short break for anglers on a tight schedule.
Day 1 : Arrival Corbett Tiger Reserve
Arrive at Tiger Camp by noon. We would transfer you towards Riverine Woods in a 4WD.
Today we fish around Rani & Amdai row the upstream section of our beat and time permitting Panbhara Row. It is also an excellent opportunity to see birdlife and wildlife of the area. Overnight in Riverine Woods.
Day 2 : Ramganga River
After an early cup of tea we head downstream and ford across the Ramgnaga twice casting as we go. Today we'll be fishing in the Charidhunga Raw, an A1 pool where numerous big catches close to 70 lb have been reported. In the latter half of the day fish at Gauchi Raw. Just along the bend is a dense patch of Jamun where Tiger pugmarks are often found. Evening by the fire, bar-be-Que and dinner. Overnight in Riverine Woods.
Day 3 : Departure
Today we fish the upstream beat at Marchula once the most popular
fishing spot. This massive pool is home to massive Mahseer and Goonch.
Two years back one of our guests had hooked a shocked Terrapin.
Later in the day we will fish the pool below Baluli another promising
pool. As the afternoon approaches we will drive back to Tiger Camp.
Depart for return / onward destination.
